"She was an extraordinary artist, and Walt thought very highly of her. She was the most amazing colorist of all time. I don't even think Matisse could hold a candle to her - and I mean that very sincerely."

It is, but IMHO, like movies it's collaborative, commercial art.
What does Marc Davis know? Whatever it is that he does know. Rasullo and his clan of overpaid pencil pushers, meeting callers and corporate jet setters, knows much more about art and creativity. The art of making bad show.
Marc Davis is a true Disney Legend. A real artist, a true creative. I wish they nurtured more of people like him to key positions.
“Disneyland is a work of love. We didn’t go into Disneyland just with the idea of making money.”

Thanks for sharing. I love marc Davis and to know he had great respect for fellow artists really impresses me.
Too pessimistic
Marc Davis knows his stuff :)
Don't copy Matisse on this...
